We've replaced the brass-plated handles that came with the house. The difference in weight is immediate — these settle, they don't rattle. Six months in, the lacquer has worn just where the thumb sits, exactly as described. We're delighted.
A solid-cast brass lever with a slim 16mm bar, weighted to settle naturally in the hand. The rose is machined from a single billet, polished, then hand-rubbed to a soft satin — every piece carries the faint marks of the bench it was finished on.
The brass develops a patina with use — handled daily, it deepens into a richer tone over months. To keep the original finish, wipe with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleans, a damp cloth with a drop of mild soap is enough. Avoid metal polishes, ammonia, or abrasive sponges — the lacquer is thin and meant to wear honestly.
Each handle is signed underneath the rose with the year and workshop mark.
Compatible with all standard 60mm and 78mm UK / EU mortice locks. The sprung mechanism returns the lever cleanly without sag. Two M5 bolts and an 8mm sprung spindle are supplied — countersunk on the rose-side to sit flush.
Recommended door thickness 38–55mm. A 60mm extended spindle is available on request.
Lead time is 2–3 weeks; each piece is cast and finished to order. India delivery is ₹450 standard, free over ₹20,000. Pan-India free over ₹40,000. Tracked and insured in transit.
Unfitted hardware can be returned within 60 days for a full refund. Custom sizes are non-returnable.
Every Aurelio handle is finished by hand and weighted to feel deliberate in the palm. The bar settles with a soft click; the brass takes the warmth of the room. Specified on courtyard residences from Lisbon to Kyoto.

We used No.04 across 28 internal doors in a country house we delivered last spring. Hardware is often the place where budget gets cut — Aurelio is the line we now refuse to cut. The client opens a door, pauses, and smiles. That's the brief.
Genuinely lovely object. The brass has a softness to it you can't fake. My only note is the 3-week lead time — the email said it, the site says it, and yet I still felt impatient. That's on me. They arrived exactly when promised, packed like jewellery.
Charcoal stained oak, brass lever. The colour temperature is the thing — these brass tones are warm but not yellow, and they sit beautifully against dark wood. The rose feels chunky in the best way. Workshop mark on the back is a lovely touch.
